3D nail art means raised, three-dimensional designs sculpted directly onto your nails — think flowers with individual petals, tiny bows, characters, or abstract shapes that literally stand up off the nail surface. At 3D Nails & Spa, every element is hand-sculpted by our artists using acrylic or gel, not glued-on charms or stickers.
It depends on how detailed you want to go. Simple 3D accents on a couple of nails might add $10 to $20 on top of your base service. A full set with detailed 3D art on every nail will cost more. The best way to get pricing is to bring your inspiration photos to our Gaithersburg salon or send them to us at (240) 631-0818 — we'll give you an honest quote.
Not when it's done right. Our artists sculpt each element directly onto the nail and seal it with gel top coat, so the designs are securely bonded. With normal daily activities, they'll last as long as your base set — about 3 to 4 weeks. Just avoid using your nails as tools and they'll hold up great.
Acrylic and Gel X extensions both work really well because they give a solid, stable surface for sculpted designs. You can also add smaller 3D elements on top of a gel manicure. If you're not sure, our team can recommend the best option based on your design idea and lifestyle.
